Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) – FAQs

A DSC is a secure digital key issued by certifying authorities to validate and verify the identity of the certificate holder for online transactions and filings.

It is used for:

  • Company incorporation
  • MCA/ROC filings
  • Income Tax e-filing
  • GST registration & returns
  • Tenders (GeM, eProcurement)
  • EPFO, Trademark filings, etc.

Any individual, company, director, partner, CA, or authorized person involved in online filings or authentication can apply.
